Funding For Projects

Habitat is a grass-roots movement and most funding comes from the local communities.  Contributions from Habitat board members, concerned individuals, churches, civic groups and businesses are needed to provide capital.

A "Carpenter's Club" has been established whereby persons pledge a specific amount (at least $25 for individuals or $50 for business and civic groups) to be paid each time a new Habitat housing project is begun.  A sign up form is included on the Carpenter's Club page.

Other funding is provided by "in-kind" donations of materials and services from individuals, businesses and governmental agencies.
